Gas Engineer – Rochester (ME/DA)

About the role

We are seeking a Gas Engineer to join our Property Services team in Rochester, covering the ME and DA postcodes. You will deliver safe, reliable gas installations and repairs for our residents, supporting a portfolio of over 50,000 homes.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair domestic gas appliances such as boilers and fires.
• Carry out routine maintenance checks on gas systems.
• Maintain stock levels and monitor the use of materials.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rota (approximately one week in five).
• Liaise with residents and internal teams to promptly resolve property‑related issues.
• Report any non‑compliance or process failures to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a gas engineer.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1.
• Previous experience in domestic or social housing environments.
• Knowledge of unvented hot‑water systems is desirable.
