Gas Installation Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Gas Installation Team Leader to work on a regional field‑based patch in the Liverpool area for a leading national utilities company. This permanent, full‑time position involves installing and commissioning gas infrastructure on public highways and residential or commercial development sites while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission gas infrastructure on‑site and off‑site, including public highways and development projects.
• Read and interpret utility plans to ensure accurate execution of works.
• Mentor, support and develop junior members of the installation team.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and industry standards.

Required profile

• GNO2 Main Laying qualification (or equivalent).
• NRSWA Operative accreditation.
• Proven experience installing and commissioning gas infrastructure.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret utility plans.
• Competence in gas installation and commissioning procedures.
