About the role

Pearson is seeking qualified examiners to mark GCE A Level Economics (2016 Specification) scripts. Marking is performed remotely using the ePEN digital platform, with a few paper scripts handled by post. The role runs from May to July, with training in May‑June.

Key responsibilities

Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently according to the official mark scheme.
Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at designated times.
Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
Complete all required administrative tasks.

Required profile

Degree or equivalent qualification.
At least one academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, preferably in economics or a related subject.
High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

Proficiency with ePEN digital marking system.
