About the role
Pearson is seeking a qualified examiner to mark GCSE Chinese (2017 specification) scripts remotely. You will apply the pre‑defined mark scheme to ensure consistent standards across all candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Mark candidates’ responses accurately using ePEN or paper scripts.
- Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader on schedule.
- Meet all marking milestones and deadlines.
- Complete required administrative tasks as instructed.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified teacher status (UK or overseas qualifications accepted).
- Relevant teaching or assessment experience within the past 10 years.
Required skills
- High level of subject knowledge in Chinese to apply the mark scheme.
