GCSE French Examiner (New Specification) – Fully Remote

About the role

The role involves marking GCSE French (2024 and New Specification) examinations for Pearson. Working from home, you will assess candidates’ responses using the ePEN digital marking system, applying the pre‑defined mark scheme to ensure consistency and fairness.

Key responsibilities

• Mark assigned scripts accurately and consistently according to the official mark scheme.
• Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at scheduled times.
• Meet all marking milestones and deadlines.
• Complete required administrative tasks and documentation.

Required profile

• At least one academic year of recent teaching experience in French (within the last 8 years).
• Qualified teacher status with a relevant degree.
• Strong subject knowledge of French language and GCSE curriculum.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking platform.
