GCSE Mathematics Tutor (Part‑time, Altrincham)

About the role
m2r Education is seeking experienced GCSE Mathematics tutors to deliver face‑to‑face lessons in Altrincham. You will work with small groups of up to eight students, helping them improve their GCSE maths performance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled tutoring sessions on weekdays (5 pm‑8 pm) and weekends (10 am‑4 pm).
- Plan and adapt lesson content to meet individual student needs.
- Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE or QTS.
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Mathematics in UK mainstream schools.
- Enhanced DBS check and enrolment on the DBS update service.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Recent safeguarding training (or willingness to complete an online course).
Required skills

- Hourly rate up to £45, dependent on experience and qualifications.
