General Cover Teacher – KS3 Computing, PSHE & English

About the role

We are recruiting a General Cover Teacher for a well‑regarded secondary school in East Dulwich. The role runs full‑time from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, starting 1 September and is expected to continue until December. You will deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on KS3 Computing, PSHE and English.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in KS3 Computing, PSHE and English.
• Provide general classroom cover across the school as required.
• Manage classroom behaviour and keep pupils engaged.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding and health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but experienced cover supervisors will also be considered.
• Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Reliability, adaptability and availability for the full assignment period.
