General Loss Adjuster – Property Claims

About the role

Join the General Property team as a Loss Adjuster, managing a mixed portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims up to £100,000. The position is home‑based with regular travel across South London and the Southern Home Counties, including occasional overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and settle property claims ranging from minor damage to high‑value losses.
• Maintain a personal regional caseload, ensuring timely progress and compliance with SLA and KPI targets.
• Communicate with policyholders, gather evidence, verify policy details and negotiate settlements.
• Travel to claim sites as required, providing on‑the‑ground support and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in loss adjusting for domestic or commercial property claims.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently from a home office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Progression towards professional qualifications such as CertCILA, DipCILA, ACII or ACILA is advantageous.
