General Manager – Busy London Coffee Bar

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the bustling Kings Cross venue of Notes Coffee Roasters & Bar. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the coffee shop and bar, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including coffee, brunch, wine, cocktail and craft‑beer service.
• Manage staffing schedules, training and performance for a large team.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Control inventory, ordering and cost‑control to meet financial targets.
• Develop and implement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior management roles within the hospitality sector.
• Proven track record of leading large teams in a fast‑paced coffee shop or bar environment.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Passion for specialty coffee, wine, cocktails and craft beer.
