General Manager – Coffee Shop (Selfridges)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic General Manager to lead the team at our bustling Notes Selfridges coffee shop. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving profitability in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all day‑to‑day operations of the coffee shop and bar.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, service, and hygiene.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to foster a happy, productive team.
• Control costs, inventory, and budgeting to achieve profitability targets.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and respond to feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager in hospitality or food & beverage.
• Demonstrated ability to run busy takeaway services in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Passion for coffee and delivering outstanding customer service.
