General Manager – Leisure Hospitality Centre

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious General Manager to lead one of our busy leisure hospitality centres in South East England. You will have full autonomy to shape the business, create a safe and vibrant environment for staff and guests, and drive commercial performance across food, drink, amusements and bowling/golf.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the centre, ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer experience.
• Manage all four revenue streams (Food, Drink, Amusements, Bowling/Golf) to meet and exceed budgetary targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and market share.
• Lead, coach and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators, prepare financial reports and take corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months of hands‑on experience as a General Manager in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Proven track record of optimising sales and operational performance.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing staff.
• Resilient, flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
