General Manager – New Michelin‑Star Restaurant in Knightsbridge

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the launch of a premium dining concept in Knightsbridge, London. Working side‑by‑side with a celebrated Michelin‑starred chef, you will shape the restaurant’s culture, standards, and guest experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the successful opening and ongoing operation of the restaurant.
• Partner with the chef and senior leadership to define the venue’s identity and service standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high‑performing front‑of‑house team.
• Deliver an exceptional, warm guest experience while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Manage operational performance, including labour, budgets, stock control, compliance, and profitability.
• Drive commercial results without compromising quality or brand reputation.
• Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and industry contacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant GM ready for a first GM role.
• Background in fine‑dining, luxury restaurants, or premium hospitality.
• Strong presence, polished communication, and credibility as a brand ambassador.
• Genuine passion for hospitality, humility, and a service‑focused mindset.
• Commercially aware with solid operational knowledge.
• New‑opening experience is highly desirable.
