General Manager – Premium Reformer Pilates Studio

About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits an ambitious and people‑focused General Manager to launch and lead a brand‑new premium boutique Reformer Pilates studio on King's Road, Chelsea, opening in early January.

Key responsibilities

• Complete immersive training across existing London studios to learn operations and member journey.
• Recruit, hire and onboard the founding Chelsea team for front‑of‑house and coaching roles.
• Lead pre‑sale membership campaigns and acquire founding members before opening.
• Build local partnerships and community initiatives to raise studio profile pre‑launch.
• Oversee launch readiness, including systems setup, equipment, stock and studio presentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day studio operations, ensuring exceptional member experience.
• Drive commercial performance by meeting revenue, profitability and membership targets.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse trends and implement strategies to maximise studio performance.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing team, conducting regular reviews and training.
• Maintain studio standards of cleanliness, health & safety compliance and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality or a premium customer‑focused business.
• Proven track record of driving membership sales, retention and commercial performance.
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing customer‑facing teams.
• Excellent understanding of operational management, staffing and studio performance.
• Experience working towards revenue and KPI targets.
• Ability to start by early December and work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
