General Manager – UK Business

About the role

As General Manager you will be the head of the UK business, reporting directly to the Group. You will lead a stable, profitable operation with a £10m turnover, develop the team, and drive the next phase of growth in a mature market.

Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L responsibility (circa £10m) and set realistic revenue and profit targets.
• Coach, motivate and develop both direct and indirect reports, providing challenging mentorship.
• Conduct regular market analysis to monitor competition and economic indicators.
• Identify and pursue new market focus areas to maximise growth opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence through effective inventory, logistics and assembly management.

Required profile

• Commercially minded senior leader with a proven record of growing sales in an SME environment.
• Experience managing a multi‑million‑pound P&L and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong client‑management and networking skills with senior industry professionals.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent sales and operational management experience.
• Enthusiasm for hands‑on, “many hats” SME leadership.
