General Operative – Full‑time Production Role

About the role
We are seeking motivated General Operatives to join our manufacturing client in Runcorn, Cheshire. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position offers a basic rate of £14‑£28 per hour and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines such as band saws.
- Use hand tools, including drills and band saws, to assemble parts.
- Work on‑site as required and keep the work area clean and tidy.
- Follow health and safety procedures while handling equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
Required profile
- Confidence using hand tools.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a manual workshop environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
