General Practitioner – Primary Care Directorate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated General Practitioner to join our Primary Care Directorate team. The role is based primarily at Holmcroft Surgery with cross‑cover duties at Moorcroft Medical Centre, Moss Green Surgery, and Keele Practice. You will work four clinical sessions per week, delivering innovative, patient‑centred care within a highly regarded CQC‑rated organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide urgent and routine primary care appointments for registered and temporary patients.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Deliver non‑patient‑facing administrative work within allocated session time.
• Collaborate with an extended clinical team, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Unqualified Clinical Practitioners.
• Participate in cross‑cover duties across multiple practice sites as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified General Practitioner with a commitment to four sessions per week (plus CPD).
• Strong motivation to contribute to innovative primary care models.
• Team‑oriented mindset, able to work within senior clinical leadership.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and protected learning events.
• Alignment with sustainability goals and inclusive workplace values.
