General Production Operator

About the role

Join a growing manufacturing organisation in Halstead as a General Production Operator. You will play a key part in the day‑to‑day running of production operations, safely operating basic machinery and supporting line activities to ensure high quality standards. The role is permanent with a fixed shift pattern (morning or afternoon) and requires flexibility to meet changing production demands.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate basic production machinery in line with standard operating procedures.
• Support the set‑up, operation and monitoring of production lines.
• Carry out basic visual quality checks on products.
• Follow all health, safety and business requirements while working with colleagues to meet production targets.
• Maintain smooth operation of machinery and production lines, ensuring quality, safety and teamwork.
