General Services Manager (Soft Services)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Services Manager to lead soft facilities services at a large, high‑compliance industrial site in Broughton. You will be responsible for overseeing cleaning, catering, grounds, waste, transport and mailroom functions, ensuring they meet performance, cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage soft services and multiple suppliers against KPIs and contracts.
• Support budget control, invoicing and procurement activities.
• Drive service performance through regular reviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and site procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to continuously improve delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing facilities/soft services in large industrial or corporate sites.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Confidence handling budgets, procurement and service reporting.
• Health & safety awareness with a compliance‑focused mindset.
• Cleanroom or pharma experience is advantageous.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass site access checks.
