General Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

We are looking for an energetic General Store Manager to lead a flagship fashion retail store in West London. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales performance and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Champion customer service by setting standards and leading by example.
• Drive sales and profitability while overseeing day‑to‑day store operations.
• Motivate, mentor and coach store staff to exceed targets and maintain brand standards.
• Manage stock levels, visual merchandising and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic actions.
• Set, track and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the store.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a managerial retail role (Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Department Manager).
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with a proven ability to increase sales and manage business operations.
