About the role
We are seeking a Generator Engineer to join a market‑leading plant hire company in a Technical Support and Projects capacity. The role offers autonomy, the chance to lead major projects, and the opportunity to train junior engineers while travelling across the Midlands and South England.
Key responsibilities
- Take lead on major generator projects for key clients.
- Repair and maintain a variety of generator sets, including complex machinery.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
- Travel to company depots and client sites to provide on‑site support.
Required profile
- Current or previous experience as a Generator Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Interest in a technical support position with a focus on problem solving.
- Willingness to travel regularly to different locations.
