Geoenvironmental Consultant – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our specialist consultancy in Leeds. You will work on a diverse portfolio of contaminated land and ground investigation projects, developing your technical expertise while contributing to high‑quality client deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Phase 1 desk studies and on‑site investigations.
• Supervise ground investigation works, including trial pits, boreholes and soil sampling.
• Log soil and groundwater conditions and review laboratory testing results.
• Interpret data and prepare geoenvironmental and contaminated land reports.
• Support remediation and validation projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation roles.
• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of UK ground investigation practices and contaminated land assessment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence.
