Geography Teacher – Full‑time Secondary (KS3‑KS5)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Geography teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Reading, Berkshire, starting September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging geography lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 within a supportive Humanities department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality geography lessons for KS3‑KS5.
• Foster curiosity about the world, encouraging critical thinking and environmental awareness.
• Collaborate with the Humanities faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in whole‑school activities, including pastoral care and extra‑curricular events.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching geography in UK secondary schools.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for geography.
• Ability to motivate learners of varying abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning; early‑career teachers are welcome.
