Geography Teacher – Full‑time, Secondary School (KS3‑KS5)

About the role
A welcoming secondary school in Reading, Berkshire is looking for a passionate Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department from September 2026. The role is full‑time and permanent, offering the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3‑KS5 pupils.
- Foster curiosity about the world, encouraging critical thinking and environmental awareness.
- Collaborate with the Humanities faculty to develop a supportive learning environment.
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning; ECTs are encouraged to apply.
