Geography Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full‑Time – Ashford, Surrey

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well‑regarded secondary school in Ashford, Surrey to recruit a passionate Geography Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, long‑term placement within a supportive Humanities department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4, aligned with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons, providing clear feedback to support student progress.
• Monitor and support pupil attainment through effective assessment strategies.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages learning.
• Collaborate with the Humanities team and contribute to wider school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.
• Enthusiasm for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
