Geography Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full‑Time)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well‑regarded secondary school in Harrow to recruit a Geography Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, long‑term placement within a supportive Humanities department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Align teaching with the national curriculum and school assessment frameworks.
• Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Humanities colleagues and contribute to wider school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and raising attainment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
