Geography Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full‑time or Part‑time

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Lewisham. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the flexibility of full‑time or part‑time employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Geography lessons covering physical, human and environmental topics.
• Plan and adapt lessons to challenge learners of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Develop enquiry, research and critical‑thinking skills.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support enrichment activities such as fieldwork and extracurricular clubs.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for geography.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to high expectations for student achievement.
