Geography Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join our Humanities department in Gravesend. The role covers teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time from September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Promote enquiry, critical thinking and independent learning.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Differentiate instruction for SEND and EAL learners.
• Support fieldwork, enrichment activities and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for both physical and human geography.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to inspire a diverse student body.
