About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Hillingdon from September 2026. The role covers Key Stages 3 and 4 and offers a supportive environment for both experienced teachers and early‑career teachers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons, providing effective feedback to monitor student progress.
- Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the Humanities department and contribute to the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.
- Passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
