About the role

We are looking for a passionate Geography teacher to join our thriving secondary school near Stansted Airport. The role covers teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning about the world.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop an inclusive curriculum that challenges and supports all learners.
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, including fieldwork and educational visits.
• Participate actively in the wider life of the school and its Humanities faculty.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
