About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a qualified Geography Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons across a range of secondary schools in North London. The role is suitable for early‑career teachers as well as experienced practitioners who are passionate about geography and student progress.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for GCSE students.
- Motivate and challenge pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Support pupils with diverse SEN, behavioural and academic needs.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student welfare.
Required profile
- Proven track record of achieving excellent Geography results at GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge of the current UK Geography curriculum.
- Experience in a UK secondary school setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent).
