Geospatial & Engineering Surveyor – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial & Engineering Surveyor to join our Digital Engineering team in London. The role combines traditional land and engineering surveying with modern reality‑capture technologies to support infrastructure, construction and built‑environment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out topographical, engineering, control and as‑built surveys using Total Stations, GNSS/RTK and 3D laser scanning.
• Establish, maintain and verify survey control networks, datums and coordinate systems.
• Plan and deliver fieldwork, ensuring high‑quality data capture for downstream processing.
• Collaborate with Geospatial Engineering, CAD, BIM and Digital Engineering teams.
• Support junior surveyors and uphold health, safety and quality standards on site.

Required profile

• Qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Total Stations and GNSS/RTK equipment and experience in terrestrial laser scanning.
• Strong understanding of survey control, traversing, coordinate systems, datums and survey accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage field operations and travel nationwide.
• Right to work in the UK and a full clean manual driving licence.
