About the role

An exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking for their next step in an engineering consultancy has presented itself in London. You’ll be joining a team of geotechnical and geo‑environmental specialists on a range of technically challenging projects around the South East. Key responsibilities

• Carrying out ground investigations.
• Factual and interpretive report writing.
• Design of retaining walls, foundations and slope stability.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Ground movement assessments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar geotechnical or geo‑environmental role.
• Relevant degree (e.g., geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Commutable residence to London.

Required skills

• Ground investigation techniques.
• Geotechnical design (retaining walls, foundations, slope stability).
• Technical report writing.
