German Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Customer Service Advisor to join a leading global travel company in Edinburgh. The role involves assisting customers with their travel arrangements, answering queries via phone, live chat and email, and ensuring a high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries in German and English across phone, live chat and email.
• Provide accurate information on bookings, policies, promotions and resolve issues with empathy.
• Achieve quality, performance and service‑level targets while maintaining a professional tone.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and continuously improve the customer journey.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken and written German and English.
• Previous experience in a customer‑service or contact‑centre environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and meet individual and team targets.
