German Speaking Commercial Collector – Credit Controller

About the role

Join a dynamic, office‑based team in Maidstone as a German‑speaking Commercial Collector. You will be responsible for maximising cash collections through inbound and proactive outbound calls, handling both international and domestic debts.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate early repayment of international and domestic debts.
• Maintain accurate records in debtor management systems.
• Recommend next steps to clients after unsuccessful collection attempts.
• Escalate disputes promptly to Client Services.
• Ensure all workflows and documentation are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven background in commercial credit control, B2B collections, or sales/customer service with a desire to move into collections.
• Confidence on the phone and a focus on meeting financial targets.
• Fluency in German – essential for managing international and domestic accounts.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiating abilities.
• Team‑player with excellent numeracy and keyboard skills.
