German Speaking Credit Controller (Commercial Collector)

About the role

Join Reed’s dynamic finance team in Maidstone as a German‑speaking Credit Controller. You will be responsible for maximising cash collections from both international and domestic B2B customers through inbound and proactive outbound calls.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate early repayment of international and domestic debts.
• Maintain accurate records in the debtor management system.
• Recommend next steps to clients after unsuccessful collection attempts.
• Escalate disputes promptly to Client Services.
• Ensure all workflows and documentation are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial credit control, B2B collections, or sales/customer service with a desire to move into collections.
• Strong phone confidence and ability to work towards financial targets.
• Fluency in German – essential for handling international accounts.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating abilities.
• Team‑player with good numeracy and keyboard skills.
