About the role
We are looking for a passionate German‑speaking Early Years Teacher to join a dynamic early childhood education centre in London. This part‑time position offers the chance to work in a bilingual environment, supporting the development of 2‑4‑year‑old children while using German daily.
Key responsibilities
- Look after and supervise children aged 2‑4 throughout the day.
- Assist children with dressing and preparing for daily activities.
- Engage in play‑based learning to promote development and language acquisition.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and communicate progress regularly.
Required profile
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Genuine love for working with young children and commitment to their well‑being.
- Early Years teaching qualification preferred, or a strong interest in developing a childcare career.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to contribute to a bilingual learning setting.
Required skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to safety.
