Global Ecommerce Director – Shopify DTC Growth

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth consumer brand to appoint a Global Ecommerce Director. You will lead the worldwide ecommerce function, shaping strategy, driving digital innovation and delivering profitable growth across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global ecommerce strategy that supports ambitious international expansion.
• Own all online trading activity, creating a best‑in‑class digital calendar to maximise revenue and customer engagement.
• Lead the optimisation and evolution of the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring a seamless, high‑converting experience.
• Drive continuous improvements in conversion, average order value, customer lifetime value and retention.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing, CRM and Brand teams to deliver integrated acquisition and retention programmes.
• Use data, customer insight and experimentation to identify growth opportunities and inform commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Proven track record scaling direct‑to‑consumer brands on Shopify in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience delivering measurable revenue growth across international markets.
• Leadership experience building and mentoring high‑performing ecommerce teams.
• Ability to work at the intersection of technology, brand and customer experience.
