Global Finance Director

About the role

This newly created position supports one of the UK’s largest commercial real‑estate organisations. As the Global Finance Director you will own the financial reporting and control agenda for a newly awarded global client account, working across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead finance partner to the Account Director and senior leadership, providing strategic insight.
• Serve as the primary finance contact for senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the global account.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and performance dashboards.
• Drive profitability, cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Oversee financial support services delivered by shared‑service and offshore teams.
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance and compliance worldwide.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes, systems and data integrity across regions.
• Lead high‑performing finance teams, fostering collaboration and best practice.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in the property, real‑estate or facilities‑management sector.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to coordinate and influence global, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
