Global Head of Pricing

About the role

This newly created Global Head of Pricing role sits at the centre of a leading international law firm’s growth agenda. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape and embed a truly global pricing function that drives profitability, consistency and client value across jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a global pricing strategy aligned with the firm’s growth ambitions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in finance, business development and leadership to shift pricing from a reactive support function to a proactive, strategic capability.
• Lead complex pricing for major client pursuits, cross‑border matters and panel appointments.
• Establish and enhance pricing governance, policies and approval frameworks across regions.
• Provide insight on profitability, margin and pricing performance to inform commercial decision‑making.
• Drive innovation in fee arrangements, rate strategies and alternative pricing models.
• Lead and grow a globally distributed pricing team, overseeing tools, systems and analytics capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in pricing or commercial strategy within professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop globally distributed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving profitability and pricing discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior partners and clients.
