Global Markets Data Program Management Senior Lead (SVP)

About the role

Citi is seeking a Senior Lead to drive large‑scale, cross‑functional data programmes within its Global Markets division. Based in London, you will work in the Markets Program Execution team, shaping strategic direction and translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end programme management for strategic data initiatives across Markets, Finance and Technology.
• Translate complex data findings into clear narratives that support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Define high‑level strategic requirements and produce documentation bridging business needs with delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate cross‑functional planning, prioritisation and escalation of deliverables.
• Champion adoption of strategic data solutions and ensure alignment with firm strategy.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on data within the Markets domain.
• Identify, escalate and manage programme risks, developing mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering programmes in financial services, especially within matrixed organisations.
• Deep knowledge of Capital Markets products and the trade lifecycle across Front, Middle and Back Office.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills for creating compelling data narratives.
