Global Shared Services Manager

About the role

The Global HR Shared Services Manager will lead the delivery, development and continuous improvement of HR operational services for a worldwide engineering organisation of about 5,000 employees. Reporting to the Global Head of People Operations, you will shape a customer‑focused, scalable service across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the HR Shared Services team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Build team capability through performance management, succession planning and ongoing development.
• Drive operational effectiveness across all HR administration and employee‑lifecycle activities.
• Establish and monitor service levels, KPIs and performance metrics to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate and optimise HR processes across multiple regions.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality and employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR shared services or operations in a global, multi‑geography environment.
• Strong capability in coaching, mentoring and performance leadership.
• Track record of driving process optimisation, automation and technology‑enabled service delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management with HR Centres of Excellence, regional HR teams and business leaders.
