Global Technical Project Manager/Product Owner

About the role

Our client is seeking a Global Technical Project Manager/Product Owner to shape and deliver the technical roadmap for worldwide digital platforms and customer‑experience solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers and delivery partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The role is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days a week on site in London.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage one or more global digital platform domains, defining roadmaps, capabilities and delivery priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, analytics and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead technical discovery, requirements definition, backlog management and prioritisation.
• Manage integrations, dependencies and cross‑platform impacts.
• Support platform modernisation, cloud adoption, CMS migrations and broader digital transformation programmes.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance and maintainability standards.
• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams to drive successful programme delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technical project management, product ownership or related roles.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale digital platforms and transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders.
• Experience managing vendors and coordinating multi‑market environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or Aha!.
