GMP Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations in a state‑of‑the‑art, GxP‑regulated cleanroom facility located in the English countryside. You will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team within a GxP‑compliant cleanroom environment.
• Organise production space, workflow and schedules to meet manufacturing targets.
• Oversee maintenance, operation and qualification of production equipment.
• Maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Enforce GxP standards, support documentation, and act as subject‑matter expert during audits and inspections.
• Identify deviations, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure timely product release.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, support safety audits and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a GxP‑compliant manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in cleanroom operations.
• Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• Ability to manage change in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent communication, team leadership and organisational skills.
