Goods-In Administrator – PCB Assembly & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Goods‑In Administrator to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Poole. The role combines PCB assembly, testing and logistics duties to ensure high‑quality products are built and delivered on schedule. This is a 6‑month contract with the potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and wire basic PCB assemblies following build documentation.
• Produce soldered and crimped joints, replace through‑hole components, and perform simple PCB modifications.
• Operate flow solder and surface‑mount equipment, conduct basic testing, fault finding and PROM programming.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, inspect for damage and record stock movements.
• Store, pick, issue and transport materials throughout the production facility.
• Support stock control, inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring correct documentation.
• Safely use material‑handling equipment and adhere to health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly or PCB environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings, build instructions and process documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good manual dexterity and practical assembly skills.
• Basic computer literacy for recording production data.
• Effective teamwork and communication abilities.

• Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• 6‑month fixed‑term contract with extension or permanent opportunity
