Goods In Supervisor – Construction Site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Goods In Supervisor to manage the loading bay and site entrance on a busy construction project in Liverpool. The role ensures smooth coordination of deliveries, visitors and site logistics while upholding safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the site loading bay and goods‑in area.
• Coordinate and monitor all deliveries arriving on site and maintain delivery schedules on the goods lift notice board.
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and delivery drivers.
• Liaise with site management regarding deliveries, visitors, skips and overall site logistics.
• Ensure safe movement of vehicles and deliveries within designated site areas.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and site access.
• Promote a safe, professional and organised working environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, the public and the wider project team.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site logistics effectively.
• Professional approach when dealing with clients, contractors and the public.
