Governance and Programs Lead – Securities Services Operations

About the role

You will lead the risk and control governance framework for Securities Services Operations (SSO) at JPMorgan Chase. The role involves reporting, presenting to senior governance forums, and overseeing execution of SSO responsibilities across firm‑wide and CIB risk programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the risk and control governance framework to meet senior stakeholder needs.
• Support SSO participation in regional and global risk and control forums, including Business Control Forums, Management Meetings and the EMEA Control Committee.
• Collaborate with product leadership, Business Controls Management, Technology, Compliance, Conduct, Operational Risk (2LOD), Audit and other governance teams.
• Lead projects and standardisation efforts for key programs such as CORE, RED and Office of Legal Obligations (OLO).
• Ensure compliance with CORE framework, OLO requirements and Compliance Risk Assessment for SSO.
• Manage operational risk event reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with central programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk and control governance within financial services.
• Strong ability to interact with senior executives and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for governance forums.
