About the role
Join a dedicated heritage preservation charity and play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational excellence. As the Clerk to the Board, you will be the cornerstone of our governance structure, ensuring that the Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust operates with the highest standards of integrity and efficiency.
Main Missions
- Provide high-level administrative and governance support to the Board of Directors.
- Ensure all board meetings are meticulously organized, including agenda preparation and timely distribution of documents.
- Act as the official record-keeper by taking accurate minutes and ensuring all decisions are formally documented.
- Monitor and track the implementation of board decisions and follow up on action points.
- Serve as a professional advisor on governance procedures and statutory compliance.
- Facilitate seamless communication between Trustees, the Chair, and the Chief Executive.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Profile sought
- Proven experience in corporate governance, company secretarial duties, or high-level executive administration.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior leadership and board members.
- High level of integrity and experience handling confidential data.
- A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and compliance.
