Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager

About the role

Artificial Labs Ltd is building next‑generation technology for the specialty insurance market. We are looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager to design, implement and run our GRC framework as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the risk register, defining risk appetite, handling exceptions and prioritising risks.
• Build and keep up‑to‑date a register of compliance obligations to clients, regulators and contracts, with clear ownership and review cycles.
• Lead certification and assurance initiatives, set targets, scope work and prepare the organisation for audits.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and report risk and control status to senior leadership.
• Own client security assurance, manage questionnaire processes and create reusable client‑ready assurance packs.
• Run third‑party and vendor risk assessments, tier suppliers and determine appropriate due‑diligence levels.
• Collaborate closely with security, legal, engineering and leadership teams, pulling in deeper technical expertise when needed.

• Effective at working across security, legal, engineering and leadership functions.
