About the role
Join an Outstanding graded secondary school in Lewisham as a Graduate Academic Mentor. This full‑time position offers a pathway to qualified teacher status after one academic year of training.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions for students who need academic support.
- Run booster sessions across a range of subjects, aligned with your specialism.
- Assist class teachers in lesson preparation and provide academic development support to pupils.
Required profile
- First‑class or 2:1 degree from a Russell Group university.
- Strong A‑Level and GCSE results.
- Aspiring primary or secondary teacher willing to go above and beyond for pupils.
Required skills
- Confidence in delivering academic support.
- Team‑player attitude.
