Graduate Acoustic Consultant – Colchester

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our growing acoustic consultancy in Colchester. This permanent position offers a hands‑on environment where you will develop expertise across environmental noise, building acoustics and infrastructure projects while working closely with senior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Support environmental noise surveys and acoustic assessments.
• Assist in building acoustics design, testing and modelling.
• Analyse measurement data and contribute to technical reports.
• Liaise with clients and project teams under supervision.
• Support project delivery from design through to completion.

Required profile

• Degree in Acoustical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics or a related discipline.
• Keen interest in environmental and building acoustics.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive learning attitude.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
